Woman shot dead allegedly by husband
CHARSADDA: A man allegedly shot dead his wife and injured his sister-in-law outside the District Judicial Complex in the limits of City Police Station on Monday.
The police said that one Salman opened fire on his wife Irum and sister-in-law Somia outside the District Judicial Complex. As a result, Irum died on the spot while her sister sustained serious injuries.
The police arrested the accused while his accomplice Shahidullah escaped. The sister of the slain woman told the police that her sister had developed a domestic issue with her husband and they had come to appear in a family court in the case. The police registered a case and started investigation.
Recently, three persons, including a man and his son, were killed and another sustained injuries when their rivals opened fire on them inside the District Judicial Complex. The lawyers, litigants and the general public had criticised the security lapse in and around the judicial complex.
