Art exhibition on Gandhara opens

Islamabad: An art exhibition on ‘Gandhara: Dusting off the Past’ opened at the art gallery of the Comsats University here. The exhibition was inaugurated by Rector of the Comsats University Prof. Dr. Tabassum Afzal.It showcased the works of students of Department of Architecture. The rector praised the students for conducting a thorough research on the subject matter and recognised their efforts for the show. He said the nations that had progressed preserved their art, culture and history and made advances in learning based on experience. “There is a need to further study the traditional sustainable architecture practices and use this knowledge in practice,” he said.
