KARACHI: PTCL Group announced Covid-19 vaccination support for it 26,000 regular and contractual employees and their dependents in collaboration with the government of Pakistan, a statement said on Friday.
PTCL Group, one of the largest telecom groups and backbone of connectivity in Pakistan, has the highest number of employees across the country from metropolitan cities to the smallest villages. Through this initiative, the group would be taking care of its large employee base in both PTCL and Ufone. Two major PTCL Medical Healthcare Centres in Islamabad and Karachi have been assigned with dedicated medical staff and converted a section of the facilities into government-assisted vaccination centres. In addition to this, PTCL Group was further assisting its employees in reimbursing the expenses for private vaccination as well. PTCL and Ufone Chief Human Resource Officer Syed Mazhar Hussain said, “Converting our medical centres into vaccination centres is a major feat for our organisation and is a testament of the trust and credibility for our medical services team.”
