LAHORE:For the fiscal year 2021-22, funds worth Rs16,800million have been allocated for transport sectors for upper Punjab and Rs16,102.316million has been allocated for 10 ongoing schemes while Rs697.544 3 will be spent on five new schemes.
Rs 15,905.289 million has been given to Mass Transit and Rs 197.027 million has been given to transport department. Rs15,177.456 million on Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project (Foreign Funded) will be spent. Furthermore, Rs 31.250 will be spent on Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Land Acquisition and Structural Compensation from Chuburji to Ali Town Lahore and rs31.250 million has been allocated for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project, Land Acquisition and Structural Compensation from Depot access and access Road (Package-3) Lahore. Rs276.930 has been allocated for clearance of Liabilities for Construction of Multan Metro Bus Project.
Rs 80million will be spent on Establishment including Civil Works of 09 Permanent Weigh Stations under Axle Load Management Regime in Punjab. For Third Party Services for Vehicle Inspection and Certification System Punjab Rs24million has been allocated.
