Alleged robber killed by accomplices

Two alleged bandits were claimed to have gunned down their accomplice in Orangi Town, on Monday.

Twenty-five-year-old Hassan alias Bacha was shot dead by his accomplices, Alam alias Baba and Nadeem alias K2, after they reportedly fought over looted valuables, claimed SHO of Pakistan Bazaar police station Zaheer Hussain.

The deceased was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem; the shooters, however, managed to escape.

The SHO stated that the deceased was a robber and was also active in the Lyari gang-war.

IGP orders crackdown 

IGP Ghulam Hyder Jamali issued directives to gear up special campaign against recovery of illicit weapons, crackdown against narcotics dens and arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders in the province.

"Cash rewards and certificates would be given to all those who exhibit good performance," a statement said.
