Man injured by rivals

OKARA: A man was injured by his rivals here.
Manzoor Ahmad, Zafar Iqbal and Javed Iqbal were going to their fields when Maula Dad, Nawaz, Umer Daraz, Jehangir, Allah Yar, Fateh Muhammad, Mehboob, Nadeem, Arif and their 11 accomplices allegedly opened fire at them. As a result, Manzoor Ahmad was seriously injured. Gogera police have registered a case.
THREE BROTHERS BOOKED: Depalpur police booked three brothers for stealing two cattle from the farm of former Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal.
Muhammad Latif, Muhammad Nadeem and Muhammad Azam allegedly stole the cattle from the farm of Rao Sikandar Iqbal. The case has been registered on the report of Atif Sikandar.
FOUR SHOPKEEPERS BOOKED: Sadr police booked four shopkeepers for black marketing here. A magistrate raided the shops of Abdul Jabbar, Yasin, Muhammad Akhtar and Waseem and found them selling daily-use items on black market. Meanwhile, a chicken seller was booked for selling dead meat. A veterinary officer raided the shop of Sajid and caught him red-handed while selling the dead meat.
DRUG PUSHER HELD: Basirpur police arrested a drug pusher with 1,520 gram charas. Police raided and arrested Ghulam Murtaza with charas. A case has been registered.
