Man strangles grandfather, aunty, commits suicide

SUKKUR: A man strangled his grandfather and aunty and later committed suicide in Sanghar on Saturday.
Reports said Imran Yusufzai strangled his grandfather Rahmat and aunty Shazia. He attempted to kill Shema, daughter of his brother but she survived. Later, he hanged himself. The incident occurred in Nizamani Mohallah in Sanghar.
The three bodies and surviving girl were shifted to Sanghar hospital, where medico-legal officer said in preliminary post-mortem report that man had given them some toxic substance and later strangled them.
The people in the neighbourhood said the killer was living with his grandfather for the last 20 years and used to spend most of his time at shrines and was also a drug addict. Police said they found a letter in which he wrote to a cousin that he had taken revenge.
