Scattered rain in several areas predicted

LAHORE: Met officials said that a shallow westerly wave was affecting the upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country, however, rain thunderstorm was expected at isolated places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. On Thursday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Shaheed Benazirabad and Chhor where the mercury reached 42°C while in Lahore it was 32.5°C and lowest was 16°C.
