Two new cases of coronavirus in Swabi

SWABI: Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mehmood on Monday confirmed two new cases of coronavirus, taking the tally of the positive cases in the district to seven. The two patients had come from Karachi a few days back and they are Abdul Razzaq and his son Abdullah. Soon after that the positive report, the house of the two patients and their neighbourhood was sealed by the police.
The blood samples would be taken and sent to the National Institute of Health, Islamabad. It may be mentioned here that the first case in the district was reported on March 26 from the mountainous region Gadoon Amazai village, Bada. Of the total seven patients, three have recovered and discharged from the hospital but they are being kept in isolation at their houses.
