ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday issued notices to Prime Minister's Principal Secretary, PM Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari in petition to form judicial commission for investigating the spread of epidemic coronavirus in the country and prevent the return of more suspected people through Taftan by sealing the border with Iran. Justice Aamir Farooq of IHC conducted the hearing of petition filed by the civil society to form judicial commission for investigating the spread of coronavirus in the country. The petitioner pleaded that people returning from Iran should be prevented from transferring to Faisalabad, Jhang or other cities. The petitioner also pleaded to seal the border immediately as well as pleaded for erecting a permanent place at border to keep such people there. Justice Aamir Farooq remarked that this is policy matter, wait for government reply. Court will ask where these people were kept who return back to country from Iran. The petition further requested to provide masks and sanitizers immediately, as these available in the market on high price. The court issued notice to Prime Minister's Principal Secretary, Pm Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari and other respondents in the petition sought their reply and adjourned the hearing for a week.
