Islamabad : During partial ‘lockdown’, more than routine mess up was observed on roads, streets and markets.

Citizens in the federal capital during the partial lockdown were seen roaming on bikes and cars with families at different avenues of the capital city.

City district administration had pleaded to public again and again to stay indoors amidst prevailing pandemic as victims could be raised if citizens did not ensure implementation on directives of the government to control this pandemic.

All the major markets and shopping outlets were closed in the twin cities while only medical stores, grocery shops and dairy shops were allowed to open.

On main avenues of the city, citizens were witnessed roaming while inner parts and bazars were closed with public support.

On the other side, the direct affectees of the lockdown labourers have started seeking alms in Super and Jinnah Super markets around College Road and Ayub Market.

Hundreds of daily wage labourers who use to flock in F-7 Markaz of federal capital to seek labour still use to present at the same venues to seek labour despite lock down claims of the city district government at different adjacent roads of Jinnah Super Market.

In view of coronavirus pandemic; the entire city has been lock downed with availability of no mire construction work for daily labourers. But scores of daily labourers contrary to coronavirus fear use to flock the vicinity of Jinnah Super Market and having no work has started seeking alms from the passers-by and from the residential areas.
