Release of detained student sought

PESHAWAR: The activists of Islami Jamiat-i-Talaba (IJT), Khyber Agency, Friday staged protest here to press the political administration to ensure early release of a detained student.
The protestors were holding banners and placards. They were chanting slogans against the political administration of Khyber Agency. The demonstration was led by the agency president of the organisations Omar Afridi.
The protesting students were of the opinion that the political administration has taken Abdur Razzaq, a 3rd year student, into custody without having any charges against him. The demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan to direct the political administration to release the student at the earliest.
