Chinese company head meets CM

LAHORE
President of a prominent Chinese company in energy sector Zonergy, Mr. Yu Yong called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here Friday.
According to a handout, the meeting agreed to speedily implement the solar project at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Bahawalpur.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that work on first solar project at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Bahawalpur under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor had been started and this 300 megawatt solar project would start production of energy by the end of current year.
He said the project would be completed speedily while like other projects, a high standard would also be maintained. He said the departments concerned should work with mutual coordination for the early completion of the project.
