Man injured for resisting mugging bid
A man was injured for putting up resistance to a robbery bid in Block 18 in Federal B Area on Monday. According to Samanabad police, the injured was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical attention where he was identified as Shahmir, son of Shahzad.
According to SHO Haseeb Shaikh, two suspected robbers riding a motorcycle were fleeing the scene after injuring Shahmir when a crowd of people managed to catch both of them. They severely beat them up until a contingent of police reached the scene and took the suspects into their custody. They were identified as Sajawal and Sajid Ali.
Police also claimed to have recovered looted valuables, arms and ammunition from the suspects. Cases have been registered against them while an investigation is underway.
