LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Saturday condemned the Indian firing at the line of control.
LCCI President Ijaz A Mumtaz, in a statement, demanded of the government to raise the issue at all the international forums.
Mumtaz said the act of Indian government raised risks over the prospects of peace and tranquility in the otherwise volatile region.
He said the growing tension, caused by Indian provocative policy, is not a good sign as confrontation between two nuclear powers could lead to mass destruction.
He said business community demands the international community to take notice of the Indian aggression, which is a blatant violation of the international norms.
