Gold rises Rs300/tola

KARACHI: Gold rates in the local market increased by Rs300/tola on Thursday. All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association announced an increase in the gold rates in the local market to Rs85,450/tola. Similarly, 10 gram gold prices increased by Rs258 to Rs73,260. In the international market however gold rates decreased by $6 to $1,474/ounce. Local jewellers said that prices in the local market traded below by Rs1,500/tola compared with the rates in the Dubai gold market.
