LAHORE:Civil Lines police registered a case of theft of a pair of shoes worth Rs 0.1 million from a mosque on Tuesday.
The complainant, Sheraz, told police that his expensive shoes were stolen. Police would try to trace the accused thief with the help of CCTV cameras.
injured: At least 12 passengers suffered injuries when a speeding bus overturned near Talab Sarai in the Manga Mandi police area on Tuesday. Rescue 1122 removed the injured to Social Security Hospital, Raiwind. A Rescue 1122 spokesman said the victims sustained minor injuries.
beggars: An organised gang of beggars attacked a team of Child Protection Bureau over their action against child begging at Gulberg on Tuesday. Police arrested three trouble makers and recovered three children from their custody. The accused have been identified as Zaman Khan, Shabbir Khan and Hussain Ullah.
