Six SHOs among 10 cops suspended for poor performance Our correspondent

BUREWALA: Vehari District Police Officer Saqib Sultan Al-Mahmood suspended 10 policemen, including six station house officers (SHOs), on the charges of poor performance and bribery here on Thursday. Those suspended are Sahuka police station SHO Abdul Hayee, Burewala Sadr police station SHO Nadir Khan Baloch, Gago Mandi police station SHO Chaudhry Abdul Sattar Gujjar, Vehari Sadr police station SHO Akhtar Hussain, Thingi police station SHO Zahoor Hussain, Tibba Sultanpur police station SHO Shamoon Joya and two assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) of Fateh Shah and Machiwal police stations. The DPO said that there was no room for corrupt and negligent police officials in the Police Department.
