Islamabad : The 7th Annual General Meeting of National Council of International Police Association (IPA) Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Suddle, former Inspector General of Police and Federal Tax Ombudsman Pakistan, at National Highways and Motorway Hqs, Sector H/8-2, Islamabad.
The participants included Tassadaq Ch Ex DIG and Advisor IPA Pakistan; Shabbir Shaikh, Vice President IPA Pakistan; Rasool Bux Saand, Advisor IPA Pakistan; Pervez Butt, National Treasurer IPA Pakistan; Ghalib Bandesha, Chairperson IPA Punjab Region; DIG Abdul Khaliq Shaikh, Chairperson IPA Sindh Region; DIG Salim Lehri, Chairperson IPA Baluchistan Region; SSP Sajid Kiyani, Chairperson IPA ICT/KP Region; DIG Wazir Khan Nasir, IPA Balochistan Region; SSP Jamil Hashmi, Vice Chairperson IPA ICT/KP Region; and several other office bearers of National Council of IPA Pakistan.
Disposing off a heavy agenda the meeting approved the audited accounts of IPA Pakistan for the year 2017-2018, in addition to okaying several amendments to the constitution/rules of IPA Pakistan.
The meeting also finalised the names of observers for the 64th IPA world congress to be held in Croatia in October this year.
Emphasising the need to expand membership of IPA Pakistan, the meeting took a number of decisions relating to educational, health and travel incentives for the IPA community.
Future plans of IPA Pakistan, including celebrating 12th April as International Street Children Day, also came under discussion.
