Kazak envoy meets PBIT chairman
Rawalpindi : Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) Chairman Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Barlbay Sadko and thanked the envoy for taking interest in investing in Pakistan.
Sardar Tanveer said that in order to strengthen the bilateral trade, a contact desk would be established by Punjab Board of Investment and Trade to facilitate the connections and to promote the trade between the businessmen’s and traders of
both the countries, so that the business potential between the traders and businessmen’s of both the countries be further explored which is currently at its lowest ebb.
Kazakhstan's ambassador said that in order to increase the bi-lateral trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, we’ll have to collaborate with China so that through Railway System, access would be made easy between the two countries.
He said that Pakistan can reduce its cost by utilising land routes to reach other European countries and in this regard Kazakhstan will play an important and vital role between the two countries. He said that through SCO, Pakistan can promote trade with Kazakhstan.
