PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) provincial president Mohammad Humayun Khan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has not introduced economic reforms and any mega project even after the completion of 200 days in office.
Talking to reporters on Monday, he accused the PTI rulers of deceiving the nation in the name of change and doing politics for own personal interests.
He believed the politics of interests and allegations had disappointed the people. Humayun Khan said the PTI rulers had also committed to bring reforms in the government’s institutions and initiate developmental projects before the merger of tribal areas into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but nothing practical was done for the welfare and prosperity of the nation. He recalled that the PTI leaders had promised to bring changes within 90 days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but in vain. The PPP leader expressed concern over constant delay in inaugurating the “much controversial” Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The wrong policies of the rulers, he said, had made life miserable for the people.
