Illegal gas connections of 35 entities removed
PESHAWAR: A special task force of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected illegal connections to 21 small factories and 14 other commercial units in Karak and Kohat.
The SNGPL had constituted a special Task Force to go after the illegal connections all over the province, a press release said on Wednesday. The task force carried out actions in Peshawar and other parts of the province in the last few days.
Illegal connections of 21 factories and 14 commercial places were disconnected and cases lodged against the owners. Besides, 6540 illegal pipe connection was also disconnected in Kohat and Karak during an operation along with the district administration, said a spokesman for the SNGPL. Also, 2350 feet illegal pipelines and 213 illegal connections were disconnected during action in parts of Peshawar. The action was taken in Palosai, Garhi Atta Mohammad, Mathra, Pishtakhara, Regi, Tehkal, Dir Colony and other villages.
