Slain labourers buried in Bajaur
KHAR: The three labourers from Bajaur, who were killed in Larkana city in the Sindh province, were laid to rest amid touching scenes.
A large number of people turned up at the funerals. Also, the shops and other business centres remained closed in Khar in protest against the killings. The Youth Jirga and the Bajaur Siyasi Ittehad also staged protests against the incident. Addressing a rally after the funerals, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh chapter’s leader MNA Saifur Rehman, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s Maulana Abdul Rasheed and others condemned the killings. They demanded the government to bring the accused to justice or else they would widen the scope of the protest. The speakers said that the government should take steps so that such incidents did not happen in the future.
