‘Latest technology to be used for education’
LAHORE: Minister for Schools Education Murad Raas has said the Punjab government will utilise latest technology for setting the school education system on modern lines.
The government has laid the foundation of digital revolution by utilising information technology for the promotion of education and launching android application for digital textbook. Talking to educationalists and other delegations in his office at New Minister Block here on Monday, Murad Raas said the new programme is being introduced for the promotion of technical and vocational education in high schools of Punjab with substantial funds.
This programme will help to promote technical education, he said and added Schools Education Department has launched digital textbooks for the students of 4th and 5th standard. This initiative will greatly help to increase the capability of students, the minister said.
