KARACHI: Balochistan and Sindh won their matches on the second day of the under-17 boys inter-provincial squash league at NED University of Engineering and Technology here on Tuesday. KARACHI: Balochistan and Sindh won their matches on the second day of the under-17 boys inter-provincial squash league at NED University of Engineering and Technology here on Tuesday.
Balochistan beat Punjab 2-0. Azmat defeated Bilal 9-11, 11-3, 11-4, 11-6 and Raheel thrashed Ali 11-0, 11-0, 11-2.
Sindh beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2-0. Kabeer Alam overpowered Zeeshan Zeb 11-7, 6-11, 16-14, 9-11, 11-4 and Talha Alam won against Harris 7-11, 10-12, 11-6, 11-5, 11-7.
On the first day of the league, Sindh had beaten Balochistan 2-0. Talha Alam smashed Tasuq Ali 11-2, 11-4, 11-3 and Saad Abdullah thrashed Agha Furqan 11-9, 6-11, 11-4, 11-5.
KP had beaten Punjab 2-0. Zeeshan Zeb defeated Farhan 11-3, 11-3, 11-7 and M Junaid Khan beat Ali 11-1, 11-3, 11-1.
Sindh face Punjab and KP are to play against Balochistan on the last day of the league on Wednesday (today).
The league is being organised by Sindh Squash Association (SSA) under the aegis of Pakistan Sports Board.
