LAHORE
Lorry Ada police have failed to find any clue to accused involved in injuring a man on offering resistance two days before.
Ghulam Yasin, a trader, along with his friends, was on way to home on Monday. Suddenly, two unidentified persons intercepted them on Pico Road and shot at and injured Ghulam Yasin on offering resistance and fled the scene.
Police had registered a case against the unidentified accused persons. Incharge Investigation Malik Munir said that they would arrest the accused persons soon.
DIES: A 45-year-old man, who was hit and injured by a rashly driven vehicle few days back, died in hospital Tuesday.
The victim identified as Ashraf, a resident of Sahiwal, was a labourer. On the day of the incident, he was going somewhere on foot when a fast moving vehicle hit him in the Peer Maki area.
He received injuries and fell down. A passerby informed the police and rescue teams. They reached the incident place and shifted the victim to a nearby hospital. Police collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and registered the statements of the eye-witnesses.
