Vendors urged to give relief to consumers
MANSEHRA: Deputy Commissioner Zubair Khan on Monday visited various bazaars and urged the vendors to give relief to the consumers during Ramazan.
Accompanied by Assistant Director Local Government Ziaur Rehman Jadoon, Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rehman, the official visited Ramazan bazaars in Kalgan Mor, old fruit and vegetable market and Lari Adda and checked the prices of fruit and vegetables.
The traders in collaboration with the district administration have arranged Ramazan bazaars in order to give relief to the consumers in Ramazan.
“We have issued reasonable prices of essential commodities before Ramazan and magistrates through surprised visits are checking the rates and profiteers are taken to justice under strict relevant laws,” the official told reporters following the visit.
