LAHORE: Apollo Club lifted the 4th Malik Anwar Memorial Cricket Tournament trophy when they beat Mughalpura Whites by 9 wickets in the final here at the Race Course Ground.
Scores: Mughalpura Whites 186/9 in 34.5 overs (Afaq Shahid 78, M Ishtiaq 61. M Rameez 4/30, Malik Asad Rafique 3/18, Aga Salman Ali 2/40). Apollo Club 187/1 in 25 overs (Aga Salman Ali 108*, Hashim Ibrahim 76*). Aga Salman Ali was declared man of the match.
After the final President LRCA Shahrez Khan Rokhri gave away the prizes. Also present on the occasion were Chief Executive PVCA Nawab Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, former manager Pakistan team Azhar Zaidi, Director Sports PHA Amir Ibrahim, Ex President North Zone Malik Sarwar Mehmood, Secretary LRCA Waseem Anwar and President North Zone Masood Anwar.
