Eighth Convocation of Indus University held at Expo Centre

Karachi: Indus University awarded 842 degrees at its 8th Convocation held at Expo Centre, Karachi.

Among the graduates, 70 were gold medalists and 58 were silver medalists from Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology (FEST), Faculty of Management Science (FMS) and Faculty of Art and Design (FAD).

Speaking on the occasion, Indus University was honored to have respectable Former Governor Sindh, Lt Gen (R) Moinuddin Haider as the Chief Guest. On the special occasion, Honorable showered praise on Indus University graduated students and efforts put by their instructors. Graduation ceremony is a memorable day for every passing out student as it comes after a long struggle, hard work, devotion and it is the path that leads towards the professional challenges. We must create a flamboyant to eliminate the literacy from our motherland. This is not the ending it is the beginning of a new journey to inculcate the education to others that we have learnt during this tenure.

Chief Guest congratulated all the graduates for achieving the greatest milestone of life.Key note speaker Prof.Dr. Iqbal Choudhary also congratulated the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Deans, Chairpersons, Faculty Members and Management of Indus University for organizing such a successful event.

Worthy Chancellor Mr. Khalid Amin during his speech expressed that how he laid the first foundation of Indus University, further he commenced that education does not stop even after graduation, it is a moral duty to have continuous learning that can add vast knowledge to mankind, and in case we stop learning, progress of industrial, manufacturing, computers, finance, engineering, medical, fashion and arts will stop as well. Learning is the bloodline of every nation.***
