Mother, child burnt alive in house fire

LAHORE: A 3-year-old child and his mother were burnt alive when fire erupted at their house in the Factory area police limits Monday. Police have handed over the bodies to victims’ family after completing legal formalities. The child has been identified as Aizek and his mother Robiqa, of Yasin Town. Rescue 1122 reached the scene and controlled the fire. The victims sustained multiple burns and were rushed to a hospital, where they succumbed to their burns.
