Students excel at sports gala

Islamabad: The annual Sports Gala of International Islamic University Islamabad Schools was held at the Islamabad Sports Complex.

The fantastic turnout from the parents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students on sports day. The students showed their enthusiasm and excitement all the day. Colourful skipping race, one foot race, jangle race, lemon spoon race, rally race and matches of handball and football arranged by four campuses of International Islamic University Islamabad Schools (IIUIS). The students of I-8 campus, F-10 campus, Chaklala Scheme-III campus and Adiala campus competed in different kinds of games.

The Adiala campus got first position in all games. The Adiala campus’s Sajal Noman and Zaina Noman got first prize in skipping race and handball matches. The other students of Adiala campus named Arooma Jabbar, Warda Jameel, Khadija Imtiaz, Noor-ul-Haya and Rafiya Khurshid also got second and third prizes.
