Blood diseases awareness drive concludes

LAHORE: An event “Light to Life 3.0” for creating awareness about blood related diseases organised by the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Blood Donors Society has concluded.
The two-day event was comprised of blood screening, thalassemia awareness walk and training session for the students on first aid for basic life support. University of Engineering & Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Prof Dr Khalid Jamil, Social Worker Ansar Burney, cricketer Sohail Tanveer and Dr Farukh Abbas attended the opening and closing sessions of the event. Dr Fazal said blood donation was blessing for humanity and it gave life to the needy person.
