2 ‘robbers’ die in clash with locals

KASUR: Two robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with locals on Saturday.
Abdul Jabbar of Okara told Sarai Mughal police that he along with ex-chairman district council Sajid Abbas Bhatti, Khizer Hyat, Abdul Rahman and Pir Nasser Ahmad was coming back in a van after attending a religious party held at the house of Dr Azhar. When they reached near Raddy Bahtt, two robbers tried to intercept them but the van driver did not stop. He said the robbers fired at the van, leaving Abdul Rahman and Khizer Hyat wounded. He said they also retaliated the fire. Later, the police reached the spot and found two bodies of the robbers.
