Amn Jirga meeting on March 15

MARDAN: Amn Jirga Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chairman Syed Kamal Shah said on Monday the Mardan police had failed to protect life and property of the citizens. In a statement, he said the police had failed to prevent crimes against minor girls and boys in the district.
He said honest and dedicated police officials should be posted in the police
stations to improve the situation. Syed Kamal Shah said robberies, motorcycles and mobile snatchings proved that the police force was not performing duties honestly. It was responsibility of the police force to provide security to the people, he added.He said a meeting of Amn Jirga had been called for March 15 to discuss deteriorating law and order situation in the area.
