Breach of confidence
March 07, 2018
After the Senate elections, the voices that levelled allegations of horse trading at politicians became even louder. Such practices should be avoided because they send a distasteful message to the people who believe that by trading votes, politicians have compromised their political ideologies.
The recent wave of horse trading allegations that politicians have hurled at each other has diverted people’s attention from more pressing issues. It is not the time to find an enemy within. The FATF watchlist threat hasn’t been mitigated. We need to stand united to save our country from any potential external dangers.
