Policeman dies in Torghar accident

MANSEHRA: An Elite Force members was killed and his colleague sustained injuries when their motorbike rammed into a tractor in Judbah area of Torghar district on Sunday.

Majidullah and Shah Hussain were on patrolling duty when their motorbike rammed into the tractor. The locals rushed both the injured to Civil Hospital in Judbah where doctors pronounced Shah Hussain dead.

The police arrested the driver of the tractor after the incident. Meanwhile, the Mansehra police confiscated huge quantity of narcotics and arrested several peddlers. According to police, raids were carried out in jurisdictions of Shinkiari, Saddar, Battal and City police stations.
