JIHANNESBURG: A fairly relieved Dane van Niekerk lauded her team after South Africa kept the five-match Twenty20 International series alive following their five-wicket win over India in the third game on Sunday (February 18). The captain felt the team came out with intent and the change in mindset worked for them.
India, put in to bat, were 93 for 2 in the 12th over with Harmanpreet Kaur looking really strong. However, Shabnim Ismail dismissed the India captain to initiate a collapse as the visitors were able to score just 133 in 17.5 overs. It was Ismail's five-wicket haul that landed the knockout punch before the batters polished off the chase.
