NANKANA SAHIB: District Transport Authority officer Munawar Hussain Tuesday fined nine transporters of different routers on the charges of overcharging.
He fined Rs 6,300 to seven transporters of Bucheki route and two of Nankana route for overcharging.
POLICE ATTITUDE: DPO Jawad Tariq Tuesday urged the police to change its attitude to win support of the people.
Talking to journalists, he said police can combat crime in a better way with the help of the masses. He also claimed bringing crime rate down in district Nankana in comparison to other areas.
