ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau Justice (R) Javed Iqbal has sought preliminary report on alleged corruption, leak of question papers and other irregularities in the National Testing Service (NTS).
The NAB Rawalpindi was tasked with investigating those responsible for allowing the NTS to conduct various examinations despite presence of provincial and federal service commissions. It was also assigned the responsibility to probe reasons for NTS’s failure in devising a fool-proof, transparent and merit-based examination system.
The allegedly non-transparent examination system of the NTS has not only jeopardised the future of thousands of students, but also squandered their precious amounts, which has no moral of legal reasons.
