ISLAMABAD: Federal Revenue Minister Haroon Akhtar Khan in consultation with FBR Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha and other members concerned appointed six Inland Revenue chief commissioners and commissioners in Rawalpindi, Quetta, Islamabad, Karachi and Faisalabad.
In this connection, a notification no 103-IR-2018 was issued Wednesday for their appointments. Ms Mehbooba Razzaq, (BPS-21) chief commissioner RTO Rawalpindi, appointed Islamabad director general (Research) FBR; Dr Ashfaq Ahmad, commissioner IR (Appeals) Quetta, appointed chief commissioner IR Regional Tax Office Quetta; Saifullah Khan chief commissioner RTO Quetta, appointed director general (Special Steps) Karachi; Asim Majid Khan commissioner HRM (Large Taxpayers Unit Islamabad), appointed chief commissioner RTO-II Lahore; Dr Shamsul Huda commissioner IR (Appeals-I) Karachi, appointed director general (Law) FBR; Muhammad Ashfaq commissioner (City Zone) RTO Rawalpindi, appointed commissioner IR (Large Tax) Islamabad; Dr Hamid Atiq Sarwar after completing National Management Course, will be appointed chief commissioner RTO Karachi while Ch M Tariq after NMC, will be appointed chief commissioner RTO Faisalabad.
