US diplomat calls on governor

PESHAWAR: US Consul General Stephen Fakan called on Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra at Governor’s House here on Tuesday.
According to an official handout, he remained with the governor for some time and discussed matters pertaining to wellbeing of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).
The governor said reforms were being implemented in Fata to bring tribespeople in the national mainstream. He said people of Fata and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had rendered great sacrifices in the war against terrorism and the international community should acknowledge them.
