ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Thursday demanded of the government for issuance of red warrant for former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf to bring him back to Pakistan and present him before the courts of law in Benazir Bhutto assassination case.

The PPP rejoinder comes after the statement of former president Pervez Musharraf, who reacted on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s accusation against him for conspiring to kill his mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while addressing at Garhi Khuda Baksh on the 10th martyrdom of Benazir, declared Pervez Musharraf as a conspirator to murder his mother Benazir Bhutto.

In a rejoinder to the statement of Musharraf, PPP Information Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor said Musharraf was the murderer of Benazir and a deserter. He asked the question from Musharraf to tell the nation on whose order the security from Benazir was removed. “Will Pervez Musharraf tell onwhose order the autopsy of other martyrs of Liaquat Bagh terrorist incident were not conducted,” he questioned. He also questioned Musharraf that whether he would tell whose order the crime scene was washed away.

The PPP information secretary asked why he was hiding in Dubai and if he has any courage then comes to Pakistan to face the cases in the courts of law as no one could prove himself innocent through making statements on the TV channels.

He said on the other hand, Benazir Bhutto despite being a women was a more brave then a person who declared himself as a commando while Benazir remained in the country despite the life threats. “While the commando on one notice of court landed in the hospital from where he left the country,” he said. Chaudhry Manzoor said Musharraf hurled threats to Benazir through telephone calls and made attacks on her at Karsaz and Liaquat Bagh. “The person who was stopping Benazir Bhutto from returning into the country now himself opted for exile,” he said.

The PPP information secretary said the whole world knew the nexus of Musharraf and Taliban as he strengthened the later for his rule.
