DAGGAR: A local office-bearer of the Pakistan People’s Party was injured in a firing incident late Sunday, sources said.
The sources said Saifullah Khan, senior vice-president of the district chapter of the party, was on his way to Katlang tehsil in Mardan when his car was attacked by gunmen at Sangaho top. He sustained injuries in the firing attack and was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Daggar where his condition was stated to be serious.
The motive behind the incident was stated to be a monetary dispute.The police registered a case on the complaint of the injured who nominated Gohar Shah and Kosar Ali Shah in the FIR.
