Sharifs’ names be put on ECL, says Sindh information minister
SUKKUR: Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while talking to the media on Sunday in Sukkur said that names of the Sharif family members had not been put on the ECL by institutions, despite having all evidences of corruption against them, whereas these institutions without losing any time put the names of the PPP leaders on the ECL.
He said that the PPP would not support Nawaz Sharif, because he was on the confrontation path with the institutions, while it is the policy of the PPP to respect the institutions. He said that the Sindh government would provide security to Imran Khan on his scheduled public rally in Sukkur, adding that it was his political right to hold a public rally in Sukkur or other cities of Sindh.
He said that the central government was exploiting the rights of the provinces and was reluctant to release Sindh its financial share. He said that the Sindh government would take up this issue at the Council of Common Interests and other forums. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while taking notice of deaths in a Sukkur hospital, ordered to set up a probe committee and said that strict action would be taken against the doctors involved.
