ANP leader scoffs at Imran’s claim about KP education sector
PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) parliamentary leader in Senate Ilyas Ahmad Bilour has ridiculed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s claim of shifting of 100,000 students from private schools to government schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the recent results of secondary school certificate examinations were enough to belie the claims of the PTI leader.
In a statement on Monday, Ilyas Bilour said the PTI would be rejected by the people in the next general election.
He said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had seen the so-called performance of “Imran Niazi and Company” in the education, health and other sectors in the province.
The ANP leader said the people of the province could no more tolerate the jokes with them in the name of change. He said the recent results of matriculation examination spoke volumes of the performance of the PTI government.
