No official confirmation was made about the raids, in which the news portal highlighted that they led to several arrests in two neighborhoods in Makkah and a location in Jeddah.
The raids were part of a nation-wide war against terrorism that hardly hit the country with many deadly blasts in recent years, most of them were adopted by Islamic State militant group, Xinhua reported.
