Lahore traffic police will issue no tickets to citizens on minor violations during Eid holidays.
According to the chief traffic officer (CTO), traffic police would not issue any tickets to citizens.
However, tickets would be issued only in case of serious traffic violation, the CTO added. He directed all the SPs, DSPs, sector in charges, traffic wardens and patrol officers to ensure smooth flow of traffic on roads during Eid holidays.
Meanwhile, the CTO delivered a special lecture to lady ticketing officers of 34 sectors and shift in charges at Government College University.
He termed the lady ticketing officers important members of the martyred Captain (R) Syed Ahmad Mobin’s mission.
He said that the lady ticketing officers and shift in charges were playing a significant role in providing best facilities to the citizens.
The CTO and SP Security also distributed Eidi and certificates among the officials of various branches for showing good performance.
