Imran Khan says Sharif family has become security risk

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Friday said that the Sharif family had become a security risk for Pakistan as it had established business ties with the enemy country like India.

He was addressing a public meeting of PTI workers in Peshawar on Friday.A senior politician and former Member National Assembly of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Noor Alam Khan quit the party and announced joining the PTI along with his relatives and party activists on the occasion. Imran Khan as usual criticised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family after accusing them of corruption.

He believed Nawaz Sharif’s corruption had made him funny in eyes of his own party workers and the slogan “Go Nawaz Go” had become a national anthem of the nation.

Imran Khan said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had become fed up with mega corruption scandals of Nawaz Sharif and his family members, claiming that sincere party workers were looking at other honest politicians.

The PTI chief said Nawaz Sharif and his family had become infamous worldwide for their corruption, saying that they had no right to stay in power.

He said the Sharif family members can go to any extent if they see their vested interests are to be served, saying they even established business ties with an enemy country like India.

Imran Khan again declared the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa one of the best and effective governments in the country.He also praised Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for his performance in the past four years. The PTI chief said Pervez Khattak had won hearts and minds of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through his excellent performance.

He, however, didn’t mention the excellent work of achievements of Pervez Khattak for the province and its people.Imran Khan , however, said Pervez Khattak had raised KP’s issues and it’s genuine rights on every forum.

Imran said if voted to power in the coming election in the centre, they would form one of best governments and would make Pakistan a welfare state. Noor Alam Khan after joining PTI predicted that Imran Khan would be the next prime minister of the country.

He said Imran Khan’s policies and his sincerity with the people had impressed him to quit PPP and join PTI and work under his leadership.Noor Alam Khan presented an old hunting gun to Imran Khan as a gift.

Also, Imran Khan went to the residence of former town nazim, Arbab Amir Ayub Jan where the former nazim quit the Awami National Party and joined the PTI along with his family members, relatives and party activists.Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Peshawar district nazim Muhammad Asim Khan, Minister Shah Farman and other PTI leaders also accompanied Imran Khan.
