‘Khwab Bunyad Banay’ launched

Federal Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that literature is a true reflection of any society and the country besides becoming the identity of the political, social and democratic norms of the sitting government in that country.
“We are proud of the literary figures of our country who are very patriotic and have always expressed their patriotism through their work,” he stated this while addressing the launching ceremony of book ‘ Khwab Bunyad Banay’ by prominent poet and author, Shamim Haider Syed, organised by Literary and cultural organisations, Zawiya and Writers Club. The ceremony was also attended among others by Prof Dr Ehsan Akbar, Prof Dr Sarwar Kamran and Nusrat Zaidi. The ceremony was presided over by prominent poet, Mehboob Zafar.
Dr Tariq expressed his pleasure at presence of a large number of literati at the ceremony saying he was honoured to be in presence of such revered personalities. “Such ceremonies can help us develop Pakistan as stronger, vibrant and a united nation, which will help eliminate the scourge of terrorism, sectarianism and extremism from the country,” he added.
Iftikhar Arif, Dr Zahid Chughtai, Manzar Naqvi, Abida Taqi, Dr Javed Manzar (Karachi) Shehzada Alamgir (Lahore) and Ali Yasir expressed their views on the book.
In the end, Shamim Haider Syed, thanked all the participants for their presence and read some passages from his book.
