The 'Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Urdu'(TNU) has welcomed decision of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for implementing Urdu for which the Ministry has allocated Rs10 million to establish 'Cyber Network' to facilitate the masses.
A meeting of the 'Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Urdu' was held here with Kokab Iqbal advocate in the chair. The meeting observed that Cyber Network would contain Urdu publications, Urdu dictionary and information about the Constitution of Pakistan in the national language.
The meeting observed that the Cyber Network would be of great help for scholars, students and people from different walks of life.
The meeting was attended joint secretary Hajira Kokab advocate, press secretary Amjad Hussain Khokar and coordinator Professor Waheed Kamal.
The meeting observed that the Supreme Court of Pakistan on petition filed by Kokab Iqbal advocate had given the historic verdict of enforcing Urdu as official language in ministries, departments and other organisations.
